We didn't encounter any real issues, but you're out of luck if you need support for the program. We prefer programs that still have a publisher behind them, and more cautious users probably will too. After uninstalling the program, we 16x Texture Packs 1.2.5 that it left behind a folder in the installation directory, although this was easily deleted.
